Arizona United SC to play LA Galaxy II in COS Pro Soccer Kickoff in Colorado Springs

PEORIA, Ariz. (Thursday, September 11, 2014) – Arizona United Soccer Club is proud to announce that it will participate in the COS Pro Soccer Kickoff held by expansion club the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, who will begin play USL PRO play in 2015.

The one-match friendly will pit Arizona United SC against the LA Galaxy II at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 18 at the newly upgraded San Creek Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Arizona United SC and the LA Galaxy II are both coming off their inaugural seasons in the USL PRO. The two clubs squared off four times in USL PRO regular season play with the LA Galaxy II holding a 2-0-2 advantage. Arizona United SC finished ninth in the final standings, one position shy of a playoff berth, and the LA Galaxy II finished in third place.
